In 1917, Elsie Allen, wife of Kansas governor, Harry J. Allen, commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright to design the Allen House in Witchita, Ks. Mr. Wright's use of a chevron motif in the dining room ceiling light, as well in art glass doors of the living room bookcases and dining room china cabinet inspired this needlework adaptation.
Stitched area: 6.5 X 6.75 in.
Kit includes: Chart, instructions, evenweave fabric, DMC embroidery floss, and needle.
